Roihuvuoren kirsikankukkajuhlan eli hanamin aikana teetaiteeseen voi tutustua Suomenlinnan teehuoneen sijasta Roihuvuoren kirsikkapuistossa, jossa teetaiteen opiskelijat ja Chado Urasenke Finland -yhdistyksen jäsenet valmistavat ja tarjoilevat teetä ja teemakeisia.
Voit jäädä seuraamaan teen valmistusta hetkeksi, tai osallistua ja maistaa teetaiteen opiskelijoiden valmistamaa ohutta teetä (usucha) ja makeisia pientä maksua vastaan. Kerromme myös mielellämme teestä ja teetaiteesta.

During the Roihuvuori cherry blossom viewing festival, hanami, you can appreciate the art of tea, chadô, in the Roihuvuori Cherry Tree Park instead of our tea room in Suomenlinna. Students of the way of tea and members of the Chado Urasenke Tankokai Finland Association will prepare and serve tea and sweets at the hanami festival.
Tea preparation will be ongoing throughout the day. You can either stop by to watch, or take part as a guest. For a small fee, guests are be served thin tea prepared by tea students, and handmade tea sweets. We are also happy to tell you more about tea itself and the art of tea.
